Surprised at how good this instrument performs. optically it is as good as brands costing three times as much. HOWEVER THE ZOOM EYEPIECE IS ONLY USEABLE AT 30x. beyond that it needs a very bright day to see through the gloom. Ideally a 20 to 30x eyepiece would be ideal.

A little blurred at higher magnification but 20-30 with an 80 Objective is good for birdwatching at a great price

OK, so this is not a scope for a seasoned professional, however the Bresser Safari has proved perfectly adequate for this beginner to spotting, and digi-spotting.

The construction of the Safari is sturdy and the quality of prisms seems to be fine. I also bought the SLR camera attachment and have managed to take a few interesting photos from my study window. The zoom will never fail to amaze me. To buy a camera lens with this zoom I would need to spend 10x as much.

We will soon be moving to a house with a view of the Swiss Alps, and I cannot wait to set up my Safari on a tripod, permanently aimed at the wilderness.

A bargain as a gift to get someone interested in spotting hobbies, be it birds, wildlife, or scenery.

Bought this scope after a lot of research, as a tester for newbie astrologer's xmas gift and it's been amazing! A few too many clouds around at the mo, but we've already seen enough to whet our apatite for more! I didn't want to spend a ridiculous amount in case it wasn't appreciated, but this is brilliant value for money and even looks very impressive and very good quality. Not too hard to assemble either, although the instructions claim that there's a wench in the box.... we never found her so assume they meant a 'wrench'. So amusement as well. It's been very easy to rig up a simple web cam as well and already taken a short video of the moon (it moves so FAST!). Really excited about taking the telescope outside more in the summer and found lots of geeky astrology websites to keep us informed what sights are coming up. Happy stargazing.

I bought this yesterday around 1.15pm and i was shocked to see a lady getting it out the back of a van at 2pm today just over 24 hours later, insanely fast delivery cant make this sound any better all i can say is wow...only 4 stars becouse ive set up the telescope after the confusing blueprints and im waiting for the weather to clear up and by the looks of things it could take a few days becouse of the rain.

P.S This telescope is very well built, my uncle ownes one and he said everything is crisp clear and can see other planets clearly.

Skycaddie is all it says it is, easy to use and set up and very accurate. Takes the guess work out of how far shots are and lets you know how far you really hit your clubs (quite surprising in fact!)A really good aid for the serious golfer. Try it, you will not be disappointed.

I could not be without a golf GPS now and this is one of the best. The courses from Sky Caddie are actually walked and measured rather than just drawn on from a satellite image and they are very accurate. Not only does this help me with my yardages (I am always amazed how far I am out sometimes just by using sight) but it also helps me understand how far I am hitting my clubs - You might hit your 7 iron x amount of yds down the range but on the course invariably this is slightly different. They also come into their own massivly when you are at a new course and you cannot see the pin eg over trees etc and makes it much easier to commit to the shot. In short get one - you won't regret it and I am certain it will take shots off your round.

This is an excellent piece of kit. Even if you only have a vague idea how far you hit your shots this will reduce time and improve your game - as long as you want to! You can use the device to tell you how far you hit each club (using 'Mark') and use that to lower your scores and speed up your play - no more looking for yardage markers and adding/deducting. You get exact yardages to the front middle and back of the green and all the other hazards on the hole. My brother has a SG5 which is better but costs an extra £130 at the moment - and it is not worth the extra. The SG5 has a larger screen and is colour, but you do not need the colour, as during the round you cannot distinguish the colour anyway. This screen,although smaller is good enough, and give you an extra £130 to play with.

Compact, easy to use, accurate and very good value for money - what else could you want? I use it for building surveys, examining wall surfaces at height and for twitching in the garden. Both excellent.
